Household Temperature Graphs

The following graphs use data captured by FHEM and stored in a local Round Robin Database. Graphs are rendered by some home brew PHP and HighRoller an object-oriented PHP wrapper for Highcharts – a charting library written in pure JavaScript.

In each graph, the red line shows the measured temperature, the green area shows the desired temperature (set point) and the blue area shows the percentage the actuator is open. It is clear that there is quite a delay between the set point changing and the measured temperature reaching it. This is to be expected with a wet central heating system with thermostats located away from the sources of heat (radiators).

Detailed readings can be obtained by hovering the mouse over the graph and can be zoomed in by clicking and dragging. Graphs are available for the last 24 hours, week, month and year and can be accessed by clicking the relevant links to the right of the graphs.
